Principle Trainer: Professor Delaine R. Swenson

Professor Swenson is an American lawyer and law professor with over 25 years of experience in training and the law. He presently holds the Chair of American and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and serves as the Director and was the founder of the Center for Advancing Legal Skills. He is also a Founder and is currently vice-president of the Rule of Law Foundation. Professor Swenson has conducted training for lawyers, judges, prosecutors, law students and government officials in over 30 countries for clients such as the US Department of State, the US Department of Justice, the American Bar Association, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the United Nations, and the European Union as well as several large law firms including Wardynski & Partners in Poland and White & Case in Asia.  Professor Swenson also has over 10 years experience as a trial lawyer in the state and federal courts of the United States. Professor Swenson is the principle partner and President of Swenson and Associates Training and Consulting.

Trainer: Dr. Tomasz Sieniow

Dr. Sieniow is President of the Rule of Law Foundation. He graduated with his Master of Law from the Faculty of Law of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and received his PhD with a specialization in European Law from the same University. He received an LLM from Chicago Kent College of Law. He has been involved in legal reform and training for the past 12 years in Poland and abroad including working for the American Bar Association CEELI program as a staff attorney and trainer.

Trainer: Marzena Rzeszot

Ms. Rzeszot is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, where she is currently a candidate in the PhD program. She has served as an assistant to the Center for American Law at KUL and is the Program Director for the Center for Advancing Legal Skills. She has previously worked as a project coordinator for the Rule of Law Foundation and as a summer associate in the Philadelphia law firm of Jennings and Associates. She has been involved as a trainer assisting in trainings for judges, lawyers and law students in Lublin, Warsaw and Bialystok.

Trainer: Arkadiusz Cudnoch

Mr. Cudnoch is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He is currently an apprentice in the legal advisor’s program in Lublin and serves as project director for the Leadership Lublin-Agenda 2010 program of the Foundation. He has served the foundation in the past as a project coordinator for EU funded human rights projects and continues to work as a lawyer supervising law students and representing clients in the Lublin Legal Aid Center.  He has been involved as a trainer in assisting in trainings for judges, lawyers and law students in Lublin and Warsaw.
